Chris Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, both rejected a plea deal in their simple assault case where they are each accused of hitting a man outside a D.C. club. The singer and his bodyguard were initially charged with felony assault, but the charge was dropped to simple assault after they each spent two days in jail. NBC4Washington reports, Brown has not entered a plea and faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine if he is convicted.
Chris is expected back in court on February 20th. His attorney has requested that the singer not be required to appear.
