George Lopez Arrested In Canada For Public Intoxication

Comedian George Lopez was arrested in Canada for public intoxication. Police discovered the 52-year-old lying on the floor of the Caesars Windsor Casino. George had performed at the casino Thursday evening.

Lopez has since been released from jail. No charges were filed against him.

He is set to perform tonight at the same casino.

Darren Sharper is a wanted man. The former safety for the New Orleans Saints is accused of raping two women in Louisiana on September 23.

TMZ Sports reports, a judge issued a warrant for Darren's arrest. According to the site, "New Orleans Sex Crimes detectives claim there is sufficient evidence that Sharper and a friend raped the two women."

Earlier this month, Sharper was officially charged with two counts of rape by use of drugs. Darren was also charged with four counts of furnishing a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He is accused of raping 2 women in a Los Angeles hotel.

Darren Sharper pleaded not guilty to the charges in CA. He is currently out on bail.


Update: Sharper turned himself in last night to Los Angeles authorities. He is currently being held without bond and is scheduled to appear before a judge on Monday.

Updated: Rapper Da Brat Ordered To Pay Victim $3.7 Million In Aggravated Assault Case

Atlanta rapper, Da Brat, was ordered to pay $3.7 million to the victim in her aggravated assault case. Da Brat was accused of cracking a rum bottle over the head of Shayla Stevens, a former NFL cheerleader, during an incident at an Atlanta nightclub in 2007.

As a result of the attack, Stevens is said to have suffered permanent facial scarring, neurological impairment, and severe mental pain.

In 2011, 'Brat was released from prison after serving three years for the assault.


Update: TMZ reports, the jury in Da Brat's assault case just awarded the victim, Shayla Stevens, an additional $2.7 million. Brat now owes Stevens $6.4 million.

Jim Lange, Original Host Of "The Dating Game," Dies

Jim Lange, the original host of "The Dating Game" has died, ABC News reports. He was 81.

Lange hosted "The Dating Game" from 1965 to 1980. Typically, the show would feature a bachelorette, who would question three bachelors that were hidden from her view; at the end of the questioning period, she would choose one bachelor to go out on a date with.

Bachelorettes included Suzanne Somers, Lindsay Wagner, and Farrah Fawcett, who appeared on the show before they were famous.

Lange is survived by his wife Nancy, a sister, 5 children, 2 stepchildren, and 4 grandchildren.

New Rap Song "Lamar Odom" Released Under Rick Ross' Record Label

There is a new rap song named "Lamar Odom." The song written by rapper Whole Slab, a member of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, is all about "smoking something." Whole Slab tells, TMZ, "Lamar Odom is the new street word for that illegal white substance."

Slab goes on to tell the celeb gossip site, "Lamar Odom is my first single and we're going to shoot a video for it."

Whole Slab credits Rick Ross with guiding him through the album process.

Katy Perry And John Mayer Split...Again

Katy Perry and John Mayer have called it quits again, E! News reports. Perry is said to have broken up with the 36-year-old singer within the last few days.

Mayer and Perry began dating in the summer of 2012, but broke up soon after, only to reconcile again last March.

The "I Kissed a Girl" singer was previously married to comedian, Russell Brand. The two divorced in 2011.


Neither Perry nor Mayer have confirmed the split.

Updated: Justin Bieber's Bodyguard Arrested For Felony Theft In Atlanta

Justin Bieber's bodyguard was arrested for felony theft after allegedly stealing a photographer's camera.

According to TMZ, the bodyguard got into an argument with the photog in the parking lot of an Atlanta amusement park. During the argument, the bodyguard is said to have grabbed the photog's camera and handed it to Bieber's driver, who was waiting in a Cadillac Escalade. The two then drove off.

Police tracked the SUV to Bieber's Atlanta residence, where they located the camera inside the car. They immediately placed the bodyguard and the driver under arrest for felony theft. The camera is reportedly valued at $10,000.

Shortly before his arrest, Bieber's bodyguard gave the photographer his camera back.

Update: The Cadillac Escalade was towed to police headquarters. Upon its inspection, officers found less than an ounce of marijuana and two glass smoking pipes with weed residue.

According to police, there was not enough marijuana to charge anyone with a crime.

New York Knicks point guard, Raymond Felton, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon in the second, third and fourth degree. Felton is accused of waving a gun aggressively during an argument with his wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, NY Daily News reports.

When Ariane's attorney bought the gun to the police station, cops discovered it was loaded with 18 high velocity armor-piercing bullets. The unregistered gun is believed to be a high-powered FNH 5.7 x 28mm semi-automatic handgun.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Separate After 9 Years of Marriage

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are separating after 9 years of marriage.

The R&B singer and the "Mission Impossible" actress released an exclusive statement to People, "We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

The two were married in 2005 and welcomed a son, Julian Fuego, in 2009. Thicke met Patton when he was 14 years old. 


Thicke has been accused of "blurring the lines" when it comes to his interactions with other women. Just last year, he was pictured grabbing a fan's butt while at a MTV VMA after-party.


Updated: Terrell Owens Files for Divorce From Rachel Snider

T.O. and his estranged wife, Rachel Snider, are finally on the same page. They both want out of their short-lived marriage.

According to TMZ, Owens filed for divorce from Rachel on February 14, 2014 (Valentine's Day). The former NFL-player, states that the two were married on January 23, 2014, but split on Jan. 26, 2014. However, Snider states that the two were married for two weeks before she decided to end the relationship. She claims Owens only married her for her money.

In the divorce docs filed in L.A. Superior Court, T.O. maintains the two have no community property. Owens is representing himself in the divorce proceedings.

Update: Owens wants Rachel to pay his legal costs and attorney fees. In his divorce docs, T.O. checked the box asking the judge to have Snider pay his legal fees.

Todd Harrell, the bassist for the group, 3 Doors Down, was arrested for DUI in Mississippi on February 18, 2014.

Police Chief, Wayne Payne tells the Associated Press, "Harrell was found slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle" by responding officers.

He was charged with Second-offense DUI involving a substance other than alcohol. This is Harrell's second DUI in Mississippi since 2012.

Jeffrey Hubbard, the man accused of killing Tameka Raymond's 11-year-old son Kile, was found guilty today of homicide by vessel.

Hubbard was found guilty of five counts including serious injury by vessel, reckless operation, unlawful operation of personal watercraft and boat traffic violation. He will be sentenced March 5, 2014.

In July 2012, Hubbard's jet ski collided with Kile, who was on an inner tube being pulled by another boat. Kile suffered severe brain injuries and died 6 days later. At the time of the accident, the 11-year-old was at Lake Lanier on vacation with his father, Ryan Glover.

Update: Jeffrey Hubbard was sentenced to four years in prison.

Updated: Ludacris Ordered To Pay $7,000 Per Month In Child Support To Tamika Fuller

Ludacris faced Tamika Fuller, the mother of his infant daughter Cai Bridges, in a Georgia courtroom on Wednesday. The two are battling over child support payments for their daughter. According to TMZ, Fuller is asking for $15,000 per month in child support. Luda claims he can only pay $1,800 per month. He says he only made $55,000 last year.

The judge ordered the rapper to pay Fuller $7,000 a month, until he is able to review Ludacris' financial statements.

Update: Ludacris has filed his own legal documents seeking full physical custody of his 2-month old daughter, Cai Bridges. In the docs, he states that he is a "fit and capable parent" and cites the fact that he has been an active father to his 12-year-old daughter as proof. Luda is also asking the judge to require Tamika to pay him child support.

Chris Brown: Lawyers Pick Trial Date In D.C. Assault Case

Chris Brown is going to stand trial. Prosecutors and Brown's attorneys selected April 17, 2014 as the start date for his trial on a misdemeanor assault charge. The trial date was selected Thursday, during a hearing in D.C., that the singer was not required to attend, Associated Press reports.

Brown previously rejected a plea deal during a hearing on the case in January.

Brown and his bodyguard are accused of assaulting Parker Isaac Adams outside of a D.C. nightclub in October. On Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, Parker filed a civil lawsuit against Chris and his bodyguard. He is seeking $3 million in damages.

Brown is currently in court-ordered rehab in Los Angeles.

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are married. The 27-year-old "Gossip Girl" actress and the 34-year-old "O.C." actor were married in a secret ceremony, US Weekly reports. The two became engaged in November 2013.


This is the first marriage for both.


Update: Adam Brody has officially confirmed his marriage to Leighton Meester. When asked by a photographer for TooFab, "is it true you really got married?" Brody replied, "Yeah."

Michael Lohan and his fiancée, Kate Major, were involved in a domestic dispute.

According to TMZ, cops responded to the house after Lohan called 911, stating Kate was "acting erratically" and had locked herself in the bedroom with their 1-year-old son, Landon.

Cops are currently speaking to the couple.


During the dispute, Kate took to Twitter  to alert her followers that Lohan had a knife and was threatening to take their son.

 
Update: Kate tells TMZ that she lied about the threats saying, " I regretfully tweeted while my emotions were high that I was threatened by Michael with a knife, that was not the case."

Celebrity Fashion Designer Michele Savoia Found Dead At Age 55


Celebrity fashion designer, Michele Savoia, was found dead Sunday morning. Savoia, who ran the House of Savoia, was found in the Hudson River on Sunday, "he apparently slipped and fell in the river after trying to board his house boat at the Chelsea Piers," The New York Times reports. He was 55 years old.

Michele was last seen leaving Paris Hilton's birthday party at the Marquee nightclub in NYC.

Savoia graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in the 70's. He launched the House of Savoia in 1984 and went on to work with celebrities such as Ricky Martin, Robert DeNiro, and Matt Dillon.

He is survived by his daughter, Gabriella Rocco Savoia

Former NFL player and Super Bowl Champion, Darren Sharper, has officially been charged with two counts of rape by use of drugs, TMZ reports. Sharper was also charged with four counts of furnishing a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Officials allege that Darren met the women at a West Hollywood nightclub and invited them back to his hotel room where he raped them. The women say they were offered alcohol, passed out, and awoke to being sexually assaulted by Sharper.

Rachel Snider, the estranged wife of former NFL player Terrell Owens, has been hospitalized for an alleged suicide attempt.

According to TMZ, Snider's condition is "very serious." She was admitted into a Texas hospital this past weekend and has been there ever since.

Snider and T.O. married in a low key-ceremony last month. Just two weeks into the marriage, Snider left T.O. claiming Owens only married her so he could get a loan on a $2 million home.

RHOA Apollo Nida's Request To Postpone Trial For Bank Fraud and Identity Theft Granted

Apollo Nida, the husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Phaedra Parks, will not have to face a judge today.

Nida, who is facing charges of bank fraud and identity theft, was scheduled to have a preliminary court hearing in Atlanta today (February 12, 2014), but the hearing has been postponed.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Apollo's attorney filed and received a 30-day continuance with the federal court.

Court documents detail, Nida asked for an "extension of time up to and including March 25, 2014." The delay "would give the parties sufficient time to discuss a potential resolution of the case," the documents explain.


As of today, the hearing has not been rescheduled.

Michael Jordan And Wife Yvette Jordan Welcome Twin Girls

NBA superstar, Michael Jordan, and his wife, Yvette Jordan have welcomed two new additions to their family. Yvette gave birth to identical twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel on Sunday, according to Jordan's spokeswoman, Estee Portnoy.

"Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival," Portnoy tells the Associated Press.

Michael, 51, and Yvette, 35, were married in 2013. Michael has three children, Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine with ex-wife Juanita Vanoy.

Shirley Temple Black, who gained international stardom as a child actress, singer and dancer, passed away at her Woodside, CA home late Monday night. She was 85 years old.

Temple Black began her career at the tender age of 3 and gained international fame in feature films, Bright Eyes and Curly Top in the mid to late 30's. She ranks 18th on the American Film Institute's list of the 50 greatest American screen legends of all time.

She is survived by her three children, Linda, Charlie, and Lou.

Updated: Shayne Lamas In A Coma, Loses Her Baby After Pregnancy Complication

Shayne Lamas, the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas, is currently in a coma following a pregnancy complication that caused her to lose her baby, reports TMZ.

According to the site, Lamas was rushed to the hospital after she collapsed in her O.C. home. It was during surgery that Shayne lost her unborn child. She was 16 weeks along.

Lamas is reportedly still in a coma. Doctors remain optimistic on her recovery.

This would have been the second child for Shayne and husband, Nik Richie. The couple welcomed daughter, Press Dahl-Lamas Richie in 2011.


Update: Shayne has been released from the hospital. In a statement, she thanks her family and hospital staff:
"I've cried reading the expression of generosity and warmth from everyone. … I'm out of ICU at Mission Viejo Hospital. I cannot thank the medical staff here enough for not giving up on me."

Update: Chris Kattan was sentenced to 3 years probation and must attend 104 Narcotics Anonymous classes as well as a 3 month alcohol program for driving under the influence last Feb.

Lil Za Appears In Court To Face Felony Drug Charges

Lil Za, aka Justin Bieber's best friend and roommate, appeared in a Los Angeles, CA courtroom today on felony drug charges. The rapper faces 2 felony counts of drug possession and 1 felony count of vandalism for damaging a jailhouse phone.

Lil Za was arrested last month after cops performed a search of Bieber's residence and found drugs in Za's "area" of the home.

'Za did not enter a plea. His next court hearing is scheduled for March 6, 2014.

Chris Brown appeared for a probation review hearing today. The hearing was held by the same judge in his Rihanna domestic violence case.

According to TMZ, prosecutors called for a full probation violation hearing and asked the judge to throw Brown in jail immediately. They allege "Brown poses an increasing danger to society." The District Attorney's Office has also reviewed the evidence in the D.C. assault case and believe there is probable cause to show that Chris is guilty.

The judge denied the prosecution's request and instead ruled that Brown shall remain in court-ordered rehab.

Chris was ordered to report back to court on February 28, 2014.

Updated: Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman Found Dead At Age 46

Actor and Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead this morning in his Manhattan apartment. NY Post reports, the 46-year-old, best known for his role in the 2005 film, Capote, died of an apparent drug overdose.
 
In 2013, Hoffman entered rehab for 10 days following 23 years of sobriety.

He leaves behind three children, Tallulah, 7, Willa, 5, and Copper, 10.


Update: Philip Seymour Hoffman's family just released a statement:
"We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you respect our privacy during this time of grieving. Please keep Phil in your thoughts and prayers."
