Actor James Avery passed away last night. He was 65. TMZ first broke the news that Avery died in a Los Angeles hospital after undergoing open heart surgery.
Alfonso Riberio, who played Avery's son Carlton on the "Fresh Prince," tweeted "He was a second father to me, I will miss him greatly."
A true testament to the fan base that James Avery has shows on Twitter. #JamesAvery has become very popular since Alfonso tweeted the above message early this morning.
RIP. He was a great actor.
