On tonight's episode of "Millionaire Matchmaker," Patti tries to help millionaires, Dr. Theo Kousouli & Katrina Parker, two self-professed "workaholics," find true love.
Dr. Theo Kousouli, 36, is a chiropractor/therapist healer in Beverly Hills with a net worth of over a $1 million. He is a career man that loves his job. Most nights, he is at the office till 11 pm. During his free time, he enjoys working out since fitness is a huge part of his life.
Theo has come to Patti because he is having a difficult time dating. Patti thinks that Theo's problem is that he is in love with the doctor's image. She believes he will never find true love because he is too busy being the doctor. She suggests that Dr. Theo leave his work at home and allow his romantic side to come out and play if wants a relationship. Patti tells him to just be Theo on his date.
Katrina Parker, is a singer/songwriter and former contestant of "The Voice." She lives in Los Angeles and is trying to achieve mainstream success in her career. In fact, her goal is to make a whole album full of dog songs. She is looking for a intelligent man with a sense of humor that respects what she does for a living.
Since she is constantly working, she has little time to date. Her dating life has suffered because she is never available. Patti asks Katrina if her weight has blocked her from finding the right guy. Katrina
thinks that she [Katrina] is her biggest block. Patti tells her she is going to have to start making time to date. She needs to learn how to balance her professional and personal lives better. Patti advises Katrina not to talk about her career and be attentive to the man during her date.
Recruiting: The recruiting session goes smoothly and for once Patti does not threaten to fire her assistants.
Mixer: The theme of tonight's mixer is "Icebreakers." Each table has a stack of cards with questions on it. Each millionaire will read those questions to their dates in an attempt to break the ice.
Katrina selects Tim and David for her mini dates.
Theo selects Tania and Pinky for her mini dates.
Master Date
Katrina selects David as her master date. David arranges to meet Katrina at the House of Blues. When
she arrives, he greets her with a bouquet of flowers. Once inside, they have dinner on the stage. (David rented out the House of Blues for their date) During
dinner, Katrina starts talking
about her career. However; since David is also an entertainer, the two seem to connect
over their passion for entertaining.
After dinner, David takes Katrina to Hollywood Cemetery. (Katrina loves horror movies) David has hired a butler to serve them "ghostly" cocktails as they take in the scenery. The date ends on a great note.
Master Date
Theo selects Tania as his master date. The date starts off with Theo and Tania taking pictures together at the beach. Theo has hired a professional photographer to shoot them. At first, Tania thinks the idea is weird and feels like she is posing for
engagement photos. But, she eventually warms up to the idea.
Next, the two head to the Sunset, a beautiful restaurant
overlooking the ocean. Theo has reserved a private room for the two of them.
During dinner, Theo and Tania seem to have great conversation. Tania
feels like she can be herself around Theo and Theo thinks their communication is great. He feels like dinner
was the best part of the date. After Theo asks for Tania's number, they both agree to meet up again for a second date.
Patti Calls For An Update:
Patti calls David to get an update about Katrina. He had a
great time but felt like it was more of a friend connection. He admits he was
attracted to her, but did not feel the full attraction.
Patti asks Katrina about David and she says that David
planned a great date. But as for chemistry, she felt like they had none.
She felt like when they were not talking about their careers they did not have
much to talk about. However; she learned that she is capable of combining her personal
and professional life for the right guy.
Patti calls Tania about her date. Tania tells Patti she had a
great date with Theo, but she was not ready to kiss him. She really likes him
though and they have been in touch everyday since their first date.
Theo shows Patti the picture he had taken of him and Tania.
He tells Patti that he and Tania have already been on a second date. He admits that he wants to keep
getting to know her.
Update: Katrina and David have not kept in touch. But when
she meets the one, Katrina knows that she can have a relationship…and a career.
Update: Dr. Theo and Tania have been out several times since Patti
introduced them. Dr. Theo has finally filled out a prescription…for love.
