Justin Bieber has been charged with felony vandalism. He is accused of throwing at least a dozen eggs at his neighbor's home resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage.

According to the CA Penal Code, an individual is guilty of vandalism if he/she commits one of the following acts to any real/personal property that is not his/her own:
(1) Defaces with graffiti or other inscribed material.
(2) Damages.
(3) Destroys.

Penalties For Felony Vandalism
If the amount of destruction, defacement, or damage caused by an individual is more than $400, he/she faces imprisonment in a county jail of up to 1 year AND/OR a fine of up to $10,000.

If the damage, destruction, or defacement caused by an individual exceeds $10,000 or more, he/she faces a fine of not more than $50,000 AND/OR a jail sentence of up to 1 year.

This means that Justin Bieber faces up to 1 year in jail and a maximum fine of $50,000, if the damage done to his neighbor's home exceeds $10,000. (It is alleged that the singer caused at least $20,000 worth of damage).
