Nelson Mandela Dies at Age 95

Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, who spent 27 years in prison fighting against apartheid has died at the age of 95 years old.

A national memorial for Mandela is set for Tuesday in Johannesburg. Many world leaders are expected to attend including President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

He is survived by his wife Graca Micheal and his daughters: Makaziwe "Maki" Mandela, Zenani Mandela-Dlamini, and Zindziswa "Zindzi" Mandela-Hlongwane.


He was a great man that dedicated his life to civil rights and fighting injustice. RIP Nelson Mandela.
