The Millionaire Matchmaker "Courtney and the Peacock" Recap (12/19/13)

 

 

This episode of Millionaire Matchmaker begins with Patti yelling at her assistants. She is less than pleased to find out that they have been exchanging numbers with clients at the mixers. She warns them that if they continue, she will fire them.

This week’s millionaires are Courtney Kerr, "Most Eligible Dallas," & Stefan Dahlkvist.

Courtney Kerr, 31, is a style blogger/talk show host. She is looking for a tall and successful man with a sense of humor that has a flexible job.  She tells Patti, she is ready for love now. She realizes she is lonely and wants a man to kiss her goodnight. When asked, she admits her last serious relationship was 4 years ago and that her ex never revealed why he ended things. Patti thinks it’s because Courtney likes to take control of the relationship, which scares men.  Patti encourages her to change her approach and let the man be the man.

Stefan Dahlkvist, 39, is the owner of Moods of Norway clothing line. His net worth is $6 million. Patti has doubts about his sexuality, but Stefan insists he is straight. He needs Patti’s help because he is having a hard time finding the perfect girl to settle down with. He wants a girl with a strong passion. Patti feels that Stefan is a “peacock” (show off). However, she soon comes to realize he is a falcon (outdoorsman) on the inside. She advises him to show off his falcon side at the mixer.

At the recruiting session, Patti is not at all impressed with the caliber of potential matches for Courtney and Stefan.  She voices her frustration and threatens to place her assistants on probation if they don’t start doing a better job.

For this mixer, the millionaire’s are blindfolded. Courtney and Stefan must choose 5 individuals to get to know better. They can only select 1 individual for a master date.

Courtney chooses: David, Jeff, Micheal, Brandon, and Chris. Stefan chooses: Juliet, Zlata, Jennifer, Nya, and Paulina.

In a surprising twist, Stefan and Courtney end up choosing each other for their master date.

For the master date, Stefan rents out the Cowboy Palace Saloon and hires a line dancing instructor to teach them how to two step. The two continue the date with a romantic dinner catered by a private chef at a beautiful mansion. Stefan even surprises Courtney with a performance by a singer, who has previously performed for the Queen of Norway.

Patti calls Courtney to find out how the date went. She says she wants to go out with Stefan again.

 

Stefan is also excited to see Courtney again.

 

Update: Courtney and Stefan have been in constant touch. Stefan is planning a long weekend in Norway for them both.
