Tonight's episode of Millionaire Matchmaker begins with Patti and her boyfriend eating lunch with Jonathan Cheban aka Kim Kardashian's best friend. Patti is trying to convince Jonathan to let her throw him a mixer. He agrees. Patti promises to find him a good woman.
Jonathan Cheban is an entrepreneur/reality tv star. His net worth is in the millions. His celebrity crush is Jennifer Aniston with the curves of Kim Kardashian. Patti thinks the real reason Jonathan has been single for so long is because he is in love with Kim. Jonathan assures Patti that is not the case and blames his hectic work schedule instead. Patti encourages him to slow down and really get to know the women at the mixer. She tells him to lose the "know it all" attitude and let his guard down if he wants a real relationship.
Next up is restaurateur/entrepreneur Eric Berman. Eric, 41, has a net worth of $1.5 million. His celebrity crush is Mila Kunis and he has an extensive list of what he wants in a woman/potential wife. Patti thinks he has been dating women that are too young for him. She gives him the nickname "Bigger Better Berman" because he is that guy that always thinks he could do better. He gets bored easily and fears he would be missing out if he dates one woman exclusively. Patti assures him she can find him the one if he is willing to give monogamy a shot.
This week's mixer is Black Tie themed. The millionaires dress in tuxes and the women in gowns.
During the the mixer, Patti gets annoyed with Jonathan, who in her words is getting "snobby and snarky" with the women. She senses he is turning the women off with his sarcasm.
Meanwhile, Eric continues to look for the next bigger and better thing. He fails to focus his attention on his mini-dates because his eyes are constantly scanning the room for other women. Patti tells him he needs to cut it out if he wants to meet his potential wife.
After getting to know the women Jonathan and Eric each select one to accompany them on a master date.
Eric picks Ashley for his master date. They meet at the beautiful Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, CA. The date starts off well with Eric paying close attention to Ashley. At dinner, Eric and Ashley talk about their future goals and both agree to go out on a second date.
Jonathan picks Jen for his master date. The two meet at the hottest new restaurant in Hollywood. Jonathan arrives late and begins to talk a lot about himself. He does manage to ask Jen a few questions about herself before taking her to the hottest place in town (notice a pattern here) Beacher's Madhouse, a Hollywood club.
Back at Patti's office, she calls Jen to see how her date went with Jonathan. She says it was too loud in the club to really get to know him, but she is open to seeing him again. Patti meets with Jonathan and tells him to keep in touch with Jen.
When Patti calls Ashley for a report on her date with Eric, she says she did not feel a connection and felt that they would be better off as friends. Patti convinces her to give him another chance and she agrees. Patti meets with Eric and tells him that he needs to kiss Ashley on the next date.
Update: Jonathan has been keeping in contact with Ashley. They hope to see other again when he is back in L.A.
