Thursday's episode of Chef Wanted showcases Chef Adryana Washock of Troy, NY; Chef Daniel Rivera of Newark, NJ; Chef Ronnie Esposito of Queens, NY; and Chef LaJuan Ramsey of Venice Beach, CA. They are battling for the coveted spot of Executive Chef at Christy's on Broadway, Long Beach, CA.
The chefs compete in three food tests, but only two chefs will serve their menu during a dinner service to restaurant patrons.
The first cooking test challenges the chefs to add their own spin to a family recipe and make a Christy's worthy dish. The Chefs are given 60 minutes to complete this test.

Eliminated: Chef Adryana (for undercooking her Gnocchi)
The second cooking test challenges the chefs to create a lighter, healthier version of a Christy's entrée. The Chefs are given 60 minutes to complete this test.
Chef Ronnie prepares a healthy version of Australian Sea Bass with Risotto which is a Chilean Sea Bass with Vegetable Hash
Chef Daniel prepares a healthy version of Chicken Porchetta which is a Roasted Pork Lion with Quinoa
Chef LaJuan prepares a healthy version of Ribeye Risotto which is a Pacific Rock Fish with Forbidden Rice
Eliminated: Chef Ronnie (for failing to make his vegetables look appetizing)
Chef LaJuan and Chef Daniel head into dinner service.
CHEF LAJUAN'S MENU:
Appetizer: Caesar Salad
Entrée: Ricotta Gnocchi with Seared Scallops
Entrée: Chicken Vesuvio
Dessert: Grilled Polenta Cake with Strawberries
During Chef LaJuan's dinner service he faced some challenges when his Expediter began to confuse the ticket numbers and ticket items causing long wait times in the dining room.
CHEF DANIEL'S MENU:
Appetizer: Insalata di Argugula
Entrée: Roasted Patty Pan Risotto
Entrée: Pan Roasted Halibut & Asparagus
Dessert: Lavender Ricotta Budino
During Chef Daniel's dinner service he faced some challenges when several of his Appetizer salads were returned to the kitchen because they were severely underdressed. When tickets began to pile up Chef Daniel temporarily lost his temper with his Sous Chefs. However, once he apologized and showed them how to prepare the dishes properly, the rest of his dinner service ran smoothly.
New Executive Chef of Christy's on Broadway is Chef LaJaun Ramsey from Venice Beach, CA.
