This week’s millionaires are Dr. Emil Chynn, a 47-year old
Laser Vision Surgeon from NY and Daniel Passov, a 32-year old Entrepreneur from
San Diego, CA.
Dr. Emil Chynn, is a Laser Vision Surgeon with a net
worth of $10 million. Since he is 47, he wants to get married and have kids
ASAP. He is so determined to find a wife, he has offered up his $100,000
Ferrari as a prize to the person that can find him true love.
His ideal woman is college-educated, loyal, thin, petite,
and blonde... Dr. Chynn has created an extensive list of qualities he wants in
a woman. (He is extremely analytical) Patti tells him that love does not come
from a list, it comes from romance. The two talk about Dr. Chynn’s prize
possession, his dog, “Rhett.” Rhett is a fashion model that has been
photographed for Valentino. Dr. Chynn admits if he could transform his dog into his "perfect girl," he would.
He has spent years focusing on his career and has not had the time to find
love. Patti thinks if she can get Dr. Chynn to lead with his romantic foot
instead of analysis, there may be hope for him. For the mixer, she advises him
to stay away from the analytic topics.
Daniel Passov, is the CEO of a sorority and fraternity clothing
company with a net worth of $1.5 million. He is looking for one thing right now
and that's a wife. He doesn't want to reach 40 and wake up alone. His ideal
woman is petite, Jewish and down to earth.
He needs Patti's help because he is having a hard time
finding that “story book love” that his parents have. His parents have been
married for 44 years. Patti nicknames Daniel “Mr. Moonstruck” because he has
this romanticized ideal of what a relationship should be like. She thinks his
expectations are too high.
Patti thinks Daniel
needs a modern courting method. She tells Daniel love will not magically fall
into his lap; he has to work at it. Patti suggests he learn to woo women
otherwise he is going to end up alone.
Recruiting
Session: Patti and her assistants are looking for petite girls with confidence
and personality for Dr. Chynn and family-oriented Jewish girls for Daniel.
The recruiting goes well. Patti finds several women for both
Daniel and Dr. Chynn.
Mixer:
Dr. Chynn picks Dani and Stephanie as his Mini Dates. For his Master Date he selects Stephanie.
Master Date:
Dr Chynn meets Stephanie at Il Cielo, a restaurant in
Beverly Hills. The two are having dinner in a private dining room filled
with red roses, petals, and candles. Stephanie loves it and thinks it looks
like something out of a movie. The date starts off well, but takes a turn for the worse when
Dr. Chynn asks Stephanie when she thinks she wants to have kids. Stephanie
tries to change the subject, but Dr. Chynn is relentless. Stephanie is
completely taken aback. Needless to say the date ends on a sour note.
When Patti calls Stephanie to find out how her date went
with Dr. Chynn, Stephanie says that the setting was beautiful, but the
conversation was horrible. She does not want to go out with him again. Patti
calls Dr. Chynn and he says that he does not see a problem with asking someone
when they want to have kids. However, he does agree that he may have
came on too strong and treated the date like an interrogation.
Update: Dr. Chynn and Stephanie have not spoken since their date. Dr. Chynn is back in NY with his dog “Rhett.”
Daniel picks Ariel and Danielle as his Mini Dates. For his Master
Date he selects Ariel.
Master Date:
Daniel meets Ariel at Opus Oils, a fragrance shop. Daniel
has arranged for a perfumist to create a perfume for Ariel. The date starts off
well and quickly turns romantic. For the second part of the date, Daniel takes
Ariel to Pour Vous for cocktails. He is taking Patti’s advice and really
getting to know Ariel. The conversation seems to flow easily. Just like Daniel, Ariel’s parents have been married for more than 30
years. (She also wants to have a relationship like her parents) This seals the
deal for Daniel. He asks Ariel out on a second date, she accepts and the two
end the date with a kiss.
Patti calls Ariel to find out how her date went with Daniel
and Ariel says it went really well. Daniel tells Patti he and Ariel already met
for a second date.
Update: Daniel
continues to take it slow and not fall for the “fairy tale.” So far, so good…He
and Ariel have been seeing each other regularly.
