On Sunday's Episode of Chopped, the following four comedians competed for a chance to win $10K for charity and a spot in the Chopped Tournament of Stars Finale:
Robert Wuhl, best known for his role on the tv show, Arilss (HBO)
Gillian Vigman, starred on hit tv shows, Mad TV (FOX) and Suburgatory (ABC)
Sinbad, best known for his role in the movie, Jingle All the Way
Tommy Davidson, best known for his role on In Living Color (FOX)
For the Appetizer Round, the comedians had 20 minutes to create a dish with Pickled Pig Lips, Spinach, Polenta, Gummy Fried Eggs.
Gillian made Spinach Salad with Warm Pig Lip Vinaigrette
Sinbad made Caramelized Pig Lip with Spinach
Tommy made Pork Lips A La Spin Sweet
Robert made Pickled Pig Lips, Spinach, Polenta, and Poached Egg
Chopped: Tommy Davidson. The judges felt like he did not transform three out of the four mystery basket ingredients.
In the Entrée Round, the mystery basket included Beer Can Chicken, Jalapeno Poppers, Collard Greens and Truffle Honey
Gillian made Chicken Glazed with Beer and Truffle Honey
Sinbad made Honey-Crusted Chicken with Collard Greens
Roberts made Poulet A La Poppers with Collard Green Goddess Dressing
Chopped: Robert Wuhl. The judges felt that he did not transform the jalpeno poppers.
The Dessert Round challenged the comedians with Cinnamon Chips, Cheese Curls, Vanilla Cupcakes, and Apple Cider.
Gillian made an Apple Cinnamon Trifle with Cheese Curl Dust
Sinbad made Mom's Homemade Ice Cream
Chopped: Sinbad. The judges felt that he was out cooked.
Chopped Champion: Gillian Vigman. She won $10k for her charity and a spot in the Chopped Tournament of Stars.
