The Millionaire Matchmaker "The Fixer and The D**k" Recap (3/13/14)



This weeks millionaires are Chad Towersey, an Ad Sales Executive with a net worth of over $1 million and Justin Copper, an Ad Sales Executive with a net worth of over $1.1 million.

Chad Towersey, 34, is always on the go. He loves the beach and lives a pretty active lifestyle (he practices jujitsu). He claims his heart is open to love and he is looking for a quality relationship. He is looking for a college-educated woman, who is family oriented, employed and can hold a conversation. A woman with a nice a** is "going to go miles in his book."

 

He believes he is still single because there are very few women that meet his criteria. He has dated women ages 18 to 40 and has an extensive list of turn offs: unibrow, hairy face, and a girl that just won't shut up (he prefers that she stick a piece a gum in her mouth and chew).

Patti nicknames Chad the "D**k because he thinks he is God's gift to women. Patti believes that Chad might have a chance at a real relationship if he drops the selfish bad boy persona. She tells him he needs to consider the girls feelings because a relationship is a give and take. He needs to learn to bend, compromise, and be flexible. She wants him to really get to know the women at the mixer and find out their interests.

Justin Cooper, 32, lives in Chicago. He enjoys traveling and cooking. Losing sight in his right eye has helped him realize that life is too short to spend alone. He is looking for a Jewish woman that is stylish, generous and charitable. He believes he is still single because he deserves the best and has not yet found it.

Patti dubs Justin the "Fixer" because he tries to change something about every girl he dates (her make-up, her clothes...). Justin admits that in past relationships, he had a tendency to try to "fix" each woman. He thinks he does it because he is insecure about losing his vision.

Patti tells him that if he keeps trying to fix women, he is going to push them away (no one likes to be criticized 24/7). Patti suggests that he work on liking a girl for who she is. She thinks there a chance Justin can find love if he understands that the reason he tries to "fix" women is because he is hiding behind his own insecurities.

 

Recruiting session:

For Justin: Patti and her assistants are looking for a Jewish girl that is into charity.
For Chad: Patti and her assistants are looking for a college-educated and responsible girl who loves the beach.

The recruiting session goes well. They find great potential daters for Chad and Justin.

 

 

Mixer:
Madison Avenue Martini is the theme for this week's mixer. Everyone must wear an outfit from the early 60s.

Master Date: Chad selects Francis. 

Chad meets Francis at one of the most exclusive MMA gyms in California. He has hired instructors to teach Francis jujitsu. Before they start fighting, Chad presents Francis with a white jujitsu belt that he had engraved with her name. Francis loves the belt and thinks the MMA date was great idea. Next, the two head to a catered dinner by the beach. Chad hired a guitar player to serenade them and rented the Bear Poke Food Truck to prepare their dinner. Dinner ends with both Chad and Francis agreeing to see each other again. They also share a kiss.

When Patti calls Francis to find out how her date went with Chad, Francis says Chad was a complete gentleman on their date. Chad tells Patti he really likes Francis and plans to take her out again.

 

Master Date: Justin selects Becca.

Justin and Becca meet at the Vodbox, a walk-in freezer, full of some of the most exclusive vodka in the world. They taste several different types of vodka before heading to dinner at Opaque, a dinner in the dark experience. The two get to know each other while dining in the dark. Even without light, sparks fly. They end the date with a kiss.

 

When Patti calls Becca to find out how her date went with Justin, Becca tells Patti she is looking forward to going out with Justin again. Justin says he is very excited to see Becca again too.

 

Update: Chad and Francis have gone out several times since Patti set them up. Chad’s transformation from bad boy to good catch seems to be working.

Update: The fixer seems to be fixed. Becca has already visited Justin in Chicago. They have just returned from a trip to Barcelona.
