Sherri Shepherd is officially having the worst week ever. Her husband, Lamar Sally, filed for separation and publicly confirmed the end of their marriage and now her ex-husband, Jeffrey Tarpley, has filed for sole custody of their nine-year-old son, Jeffrey, Jr.

TMZ reports, "Jeffrey Tarpley filed for an emergency request in April to modify the couple's custody agreement...he wants full custody of their son, Jeffrey, Jr." "Tarpley claims Sherri's non-stop work schedule, (The View & The Newlywed Game and various book and tv appearances) has caused her to neglect their son completely."

Jeffrey also claims Shepherd leaves Jeffrey, Jr. with untrained nannies and her constant absence has negatively affected him..."as a result he's falling behind in school, suffers from low esteem, and cannot tie his shoe laces."

Shepherd has filed a response stating that her ex-husband is a dead beat dad, who does not deserve custody of their son.

A judge denied Tarpley's emergency request, a hearing is set for July.
